Palakkadan Matta Rice otherwise known as Rosematta Rice, Kerala Red Rice, or Red Parboiled Rice is an exotic variety of rice which is grown exclusively in Palakkad District of Kerala. It is not your regular brown rice. It is the favorite variety of rice among the customers in Kerala and Sri Lanka is preferred by so many people due to its taste.
